Crusty,
Good luck finding one! I have been trying to find one since April for the 9-1/4" axle, and cannot. Everyone that I have contacted has said that the covers are on nationwide backorder until who knows when. If you find one, please let me know where, and how much it was.

Summitt carries the exact cover that we need. I ordered mine in mid summer without any problems. It actually costs about $30 with shipping. I also ordered a Con-Fer Super Skid Axle Truss at the same time and got both parts within 2 weeks of each other. The trick is to ask the customer service rep to do a locate on the part you need by checking shipments to wharehouses Summitt ships to. That's how I got mine lickety split!

There's a pic of the Mopar diff cover under the "Suspension" link at my website.

The Mopar chrome covr has been discontinued. You can still get a chrome cover cheaper than the Mopar one. I think the one mentioned from Summit is the other brand.

I just got the 2002 mopar performance catalogue and the supposedly discontinued chrome diff cover for the 9 1/4" (p3690754) is still in there. There is a discontinued parts listing in the back of the catalogue and its not listed as being discontinued... so I called the mopar tech line and they told me its still available. does anyone know how to actually find out if its possible to get 1?
