Subject: Sport Bumper ? IP: Logged
Message: A 16 year old girl rear-ended me in a Ford
Aspire yesterday.
My Bumber is scratched and dented her
headlight, hood, and fender is tore up.
Dodge Dakota vs. Ford Aspire
DODGE WINS
Anyway what will the estimate for a new
bumper be From a Dodge Dealer?
more importantly does anyone have a bumper
or a rollpan for a 2000 (red) Dak
Thanks guys

Message: Factory sport bumper runs about $510. It's cheaper to just go to a body shop and have it refurbished or buy a nice roll pan. Even a steel roll pan shouldn't cost anywhere near $500.

Message: man, I got rearended in my 98 s10 (slammed,
with rollpan), it was ugly...$2500 later, a week
in the body shop, and a juicy settlement, I
traded in the iddy biddy truck and bought my
dak :)
plus, if you get a fiberglass rollpan, it tends to
take weight from the rear, wich equals less
traction :( Those stock bumpers are heavy!

Message: Well the girl still has not filed and insurance claim. my estimate from a dodge body shop was $888 that should cover a rollpan. as for A nonomous I still think my DAK would have won even with a plastic rollpan!!!
Anyway, where can i order a Sir Micheals roll pan and have it shipped to me color matched?
Thanks
Geoff
