Message: they look ok, but after a while, dirt and water will bet between the lip of the rim, and the bead area of the tire and the chrome will start to charode (sp?). this will cause the tire to start loosing air, and you will have to get the rim sandblasted and rechromed.
the older mercedes (with chrome rims) are notorious for this.

Message: I have them available with a full one year chrome warrenty, and a lifetime warrenty against manufactuer defect. Eric, I would have to agree with you that SOME chrome rims have problems but definately not all of them, and probally not ever most of them. If you use a chrome polish and just keep them clean you will have no problems with them. If you abuse them, dont clean them, and dont do anything to protect them they wont last.. (it alot like your paint job, if you never wash it, never wax it, and leave it to the elements, sure its going to fade and rust)

Message: the only way to clean the rim where it will start to carode, is to take the tire off of the rim and clean the bead area.
