Been reading further down about gen II and gen III rim sizes and fit, and it all sounds Greek to me... Gen II=2001? Gen III=2002?
Will my 2000 QC 4X4 accept the new 20 inchers without a problem?

Don't know squat about rims fitting and stuff but GenII refers to Dakotas from '93 - '96 and GenIII refers to Dakotas from 97->. It's the change in body style that constitutes a new generation.

you could fit 22's on a 4x4, but why would you want to put a big rim on a 4x4?

Gus, Im the one making and selling (exclusively) the 20" R/T rims. You will have no problems at all with them on a 4x4 and will be able to use some nice size tires on them too. Give me an email, or give me a call, and I can answer any of your questions...
Eric, Ive seen lots of 4x4's with 20's and they look great...

Try using the new Goodyear Eagle LS tire. The size is 275/55/20.

Hmm, i'd like to see some pics of 20" on a 4x4, whilest keeping some rubber under there. Yeah, i know blue and knobby, and hop are pobably gonna flame me for this one.

Well we have them on 2 hotchkis trucks, 6 R/T suspensoins, and one 4x4 durango, but you would need much larger tires then we had to use fo rthe day if you were putting htem on a 4x4 or even on a durango.
