I'm wanting to get a radar detector and I'm looking at the Cobra ESD 9850. Anyone know if this is good or is there a better one and how much should I expect to pay. A guy on ebay is selling 9850's for a little under $100. Any suggestions?????

Someone awhile back posted on "Radar detectors" I still feel for the money (Escort) Detectors are the way to go. I got mine probably 2 yrs ago so I'm sure they have came a long way. A buddy of mine got a 165.00 dollar detector, and mine works way better. I'll try to get the model # and post it later.

Do a search on "radar detectors" in the search box above and you will get alot of threads that explore this topic in great detail.
Personally, I went BEL... To me, the Cobra line was a little "cheezy"... I would probably go Wistler before Cobra, but that's just me.
