Subject: Bench Seat Mod? Help.
IP: Logged

Message:
Hey yall. I have a 1990 Dak all customized. But I have a 60/40 bench seat. I was thinking, outa orbit here a bit. I really like the seats I have exc. for the bench part. The colors and trim etc. all look good. and are in exe. condition.
My question. Is it possible to take the 60 out of the 60/40 bench out. Take theright end off with a hack saw and reapalsture the end. Making my seats a 40/0/40 set up. hahaha. wierd I know. But I think it could work. Basically I want the smae size as the passenger side 40% seat on the driver side too. What do you think?

if you really have the time to do this to bench seat, go for it. I had the bench in my 94 sc. wha t I did was take the bucket seats out of a 86 labaron gts (4dr)turbo. the color was a perfect match. and the best part about the whole thing is they where 100% BOLT IN!!

No crap, they were totally bolt in! That was one of my reasons for sticken with the factory seats. I did not want to be put through the windshield if I hit something due to a half ass seat installiation. Thanks for the help.

those seats where 100% bolt in. the only thing I had to buy was the extra bolts that I was short when I took the bench out.
