I just took my console out today and im gonna build a custom console sometime next weekend. Ill send you some info after i finish. The console is a B*tch to take out. I had to remove all the seats together and take the console out by flipping the whole setup. Plus all the bolts were rusty.

i took out my center counsel and replaced it with a band pass box. in order for me to take it off i had to take out alll the seates. It not that hard really. Its only 8 bolts and you can get to the ones that hold the center counsel in. I took me about a half an hour or so to do the entire job, Good luck!
