Some of us have other cars or trucks that we toy around with besides our daks. If so, what's the other toy in your garage/drive way?
Mine is a 1979 Chevy malibu. Chrome 15" Cragar S/S with BFG Drag radials. Balanced and blue-printed Chevy 383 (stroked 350). Many mods, too much to list. It's body just finished it's complete restoration and has recently been covered in a beautiful coat of indigo blue metallic. Ran a best of 7.8 in 1/8th mile and I'm looking to see it run in the 1/4 when summer comes back :-)

Well other than my 2000 QC 4x4 dak there is a 2001 QC(suicide doors)Ram 4x4 with the cummins and the long wheel base; nerf bars; westin grill guard 18000lbs winch and this and that. I'd have to say the most fun comes from my Viper GTS-R when we go out to the track, SVSi modified, custom AWD system, roughly 1000hp w/ 1000ft/lbs torque and more mods than I can shake a stick at, best 1/4mi was a 7.012, but for some reason I love the dak most, even though its a V6; crazy huh!

an 88 buick century (winter beater) since the dak can't drive in snow,actually i drive it quiote a bit to save mileage on my truck
and my wife drives a 00 Neon.

4.6L V8 power all the way... and fully loaded too!
(I had it custom ordered with almost everything you can put on it...including an "engine block heater plug". I guess that is what happens when you have a "dealership hookup connection".)

My other rides are My 97 Honda CBR900RR saved head, ported & polished, 2 brothers carbon fiber oval pipe, the carbs have been drilled and jetted, braided lines" to many other mods to mention " I would have attached a pic if I could have figured how you guys did it "? I also have a 00 Yamaha blaster with lots of mods. 240 big bore kit, Larger Carb, Rad valve, Fmf Fatty pipe with a power core 2 silencer, jetted, converted to premix, twist throttle, hole shots times on blue label rims, Dura blue axle.
91 650 Kawasaki stand up Jet Ski. Piped, jetted, intake & ride plate, Pilot arm, custom paint.
(In short I have moded the hell out of my toys!) Now I am trying to build up my 00 cc 4.7 CC Dak. I have found it to be a heck of allot cheaper to build up the toys rather than the truck??? :-P
P.S. if some one can tell me how to link the pics, I would be happy to post them for you to see

Just got rid of my 99 s10 extreme 4 banger and my winter beater and what I use to save miles on my truck is an 86 t-bird "elan" (I think it's a gramma option) lol with 60,000 almost like new oh yea v6 3.8L, and a Dakota on order should be here in a few weeks fully loaded 4x4 4.7L w/ 3.92's towing package yada yada yada automatic cc bright silver Can't wait,
By the way how do you post pics, like Marks DQC and DarkFury?

hey kota on 20's, how do you put the pics in on this site? When I try to paste it in there it wont show up on the final screen before I post? Anyways that AWD system is not built by SVSi, it was made by a friend who owns a workshop that rebuilds and creates custom cars and trucks. He actually made the system at cost and many of the other mods on the car. The only thing from SVSi is the twin turbo kit.

It is a wet one! LOL it is a 19.6' Youngblood drag boat, 468 BB Chevy, Dominator Jet Drive, rectangular port heads (ported etc), 12.5 cr, tunnel ram with 2 prepped 750's and a bunch of other stuff! She runs mid 9s in the 1/4.
And the one thing I don't like? The boat is yellow and orange and the Dak is red.
'00 Dak, 4.7, auto, lsd, flowmaster with duals, homemade intake and gets better gas mileage than the boat LOL

I have posted on this before, but I am tryin to get a pic to pop-up, so this is a test. Oh, and QUAD2NV, I think your Civic looks sweet with not too much done to it! I love my Dak and I also like my Tiburon, two different vehicles for two different purposes, to each his own I guess.

Well first, you didn't use the correct HTML image line...
Second, the IMG SRC HTML tag is 2 separate items and they have to have greater than/less than symbols < > around them rather than brackets [ ]. Also.. you don't close an IMG SRC tag with a "close anchor tag" (the /A with brackets around it.
Finally.. Yahoo.com don't like it when you try to "direct link" to their pics... So bottom line is you can't link directly from here to there.
Try hosting the pic at another web server.

Thanks much DarkFury! Any suggestions on other pic hosting servers? I Have my website with Yahoo too, but I am buying a web design program and going solo once I figure out how so I can customize to my taste, can't really create the website the way I would like it at Yahoo. I will be reading up on web design, html, etc. over the next couple months and should be up to speed by summer. I like learning new stuff in my spare time about computers and technology, I am going to school for electronic engineering. We are going to be involved with website design in one class so I want to be ahead of the curve.
