Subject: Lowering my 95 Dakota IP: Logged
Message: Hi i'm 19.
I bought a 1995 Dodge Dakota v6 magnum short bed for 800$. It needs some work, paint job and new back tires, but its a sick truck either way. 5spd manual, flowmaster exhaust. It just needs some TLC haha.
All of my friends who have trucks are all lifted sky high, i like the style but i also like being DIFFERENT!
So i was like, do i want to be like everyone else and lift the sombitch or be different and lower it? I chose to lower it.
Well, I have no idea how and no idea how much i'm looking at in costs. IDEALLY i would like to be at the 1grand or under ballpark. Is this possible to do?
If anyone could link me to some articles, or some websites that sell lowering kits for 1995 dodge dakota's i'd be very grateful!

Message: PS. What tires are ideal for a LOW LOW lowered truck. I want it as low as possible that will still have great handling, and not scrape. I want it basically to be as low as it can get while still being FULLY functional.

Message: Hey I'm also trying to do the same for my 92 dakota magnum v6. Their are a couple of ways of lowering and I too don't have that much money. Do you want the truck to be lowered forever or air bags.
P.S. My truck has about 6 inchs of clearance and I can already scrape the bottom.
