Message: I've got a 2nd gen dakota and I have a 6 lug bolt pattern, I want to put some nice 17" rims on it but I don't know of anyone who makes nice looking 6lugs. Also, with a 4" drop on all four corners, what will be a good tire size that doesn't rub?

Message: When I had a 4/5 drop on my '95, I used 215/45/ZR17's on the front, and 245/45/ZR17's on the rear. These will tuck nicely. The widest you can go in the front is a 225, however, that size is uncommon and hard to find. For the rear, you could easily go with 255's, and maybe larger with the right offset rims. I wouldn't go with the 40 series because the sidewalls are too thin and will be denting your rims on the potholes... that's my experience anyhow.

Message: I have picture of my truck at Streetsourcemag.com under owner profiles lowdak with a 4-6 and 225 50 17's if you want to see about what it would look like. I did have any problems with rubbing.
