Hey, sounds like a great idea, however I'd cut back on some of the chrome on the rest of the exterior to even it all out. Chrome in various spots and then not in others can just look funny, but you're idea is good! I will tell you this though, I have a black 93 with a painted grill that was originally chrome. When working with chrome it gets tricky and you have to open up your options. You can just have someone spray over the chrome, but it sucks because IT WILL chip from almost anything, including wind, another option is having it sandblasted clean then being painted, having chrome sandblasted is so expensive you'd be better of just buying a new grill from mopar that's bare, not chrome. then having it primed and painted, that's what I did.

The grill is the only piece of chrome on my truck. The rear bumper has none. Anyone know where I can buy a stock grill? And about how much they are?

Why don't you go look on Ebay... Dakota/Durango grilles are sold on there all the time for about $75 and up.
