 Subject: Battery Tray

So im moving my battery and want to remove the tray under the battery. I got everything unbolted and seperated from the fuse box, but theres something connected under the fuse box right behind the battery tray. It looks like it has hoses connected to it as well as a wire harness. Its connected to the tray so its looking like i cant move the tray. If i move the battery to the bed of my truck and leave the tray, will everything function correctly? it looks like theres a pressure sensor right below the battery, when theres no weight on it, it pops up, do i need to hold that down with something or can i leave it alone?
