Subject: Fiberglass? or Not
IP: Logged

Message:
I am working on a new council/speakerbox for my 99 dakota regular cab. What it looks like now http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2143892/1 is on page 5, I know not the best pictures. My question is I want to make a new box, but paint it this time. Do I really need to use fiberglass fabric and resin, then put "bondo" body filler over the MDF? Or can I just use some type of "bondo" that is of high quality and just keep sanding, then put a spray on primer/filler and then paint it?

What do you guys think?
