Check out www.car-parts.com. Awesome site to find any parts for teh Dakotas or any vehicles. I found my aftermarket hood on there. It is a collection of salvage yard inventory and you can buy aftermarket hoods cheap.

Thanks for the reply. I already bought a suncoast hood. It did not fit correctly and now Im waiting on the company to see if they will correct problem. So much for buying the most expensive thinking there would be no problems. Dave

You will find that a lot of new hoods sometimes need a little tweaking to get them to fit right. Especially if molds are used for a long time the hoods tend to grow a little around the edges. Mine needed a little sanding around the edges to fit. And then some hoods are just crap.

I had no problems with mine. Actually the body shop where I got it painted siad that it was the best that they had ever seen.
'97 RC V6, 5spd, soon to be V8, 5spd!
Maybe not a 5-speed, but an automatic will work.
