Ok i am looking to get some racing bucket seats for my truck but i can't find any mounting brackets for the 04 reg cab dakota. so i was wanting to know if the mounting was the same on the 3rd generation? and if anyone has any good sites to get seats from please let me know. i saw bucket seats in this one r/t i looked at they were called cnc i think except the c's were backwards. i'm not sure what company it is but they looked good. any thing would help thanks!

I have Sparco racing seats in my 2001 dakota. You just take the mounting brackets off your stock dakota seats and mount on whatever you get.

I have a pair of 3A racing seats in mine. Just needed two metal strips to adapt them to the factory mounts.

why is the 3A racing seats cheaper for vinyl then cloth??? and those are a nice price I think I be getting my hands on those!

here is a pic of mine. I made a bracket for the seat to fit onto the stock bracket. The seat is a Cobra Monaco. I have the passenger seat sitting in my office but it hasn't made it in yet. Good luck
