Message: 245/70/16 is original fittament. 255/70/16, and 265/70/16 are alternate fittaments for the dakota. I had 245's they looked too small, I have 265's now, looks a little beefier.

Message: Hey Mitchell:
Just a bit of nit-picking for you.
A 2x4 is a piece of wood. Your truck is a 4x2.
That stands for 4 wheels with 2 wheel drive.
Otherwise it would have 2 wheels with four wheel drive!

Message: 265/70/16's don't rub, the rubbing factor may come in if your tire is wider (75 instead of 70).The 265 is hieght. No pictures. I have LEMANS H/T, an affordable, reliable tire with 60,000 mile for warranty. If you have a Firestone auto service around, see them. I got these for 88.00 a piece, just under 500.00 installed. PIRELLI SCORPIONS A/TS is the best choice, probably 700.00ish installed. H/T's are highway terrain (smoother, quiter ride). A/T are All terain (aggresive, better for off-road) I think I told you all I could, see Firestone, GET 'R' DONE!!!!!

Message: actually the 265 is width. 265 75r16= 265mm in width and 75% of 265 in height and of course 16 would be the rim size.
