I'm almost positive the beds between the very first dakotas and the 91-95 or so dakotas are the exact same i'm pretty sure the only difference was in the front end of the truck with the fenders, hood, grill, etc... I found a nice new bed and tailgate for a very good price. my truck used to be a work truck so the exterior of the bed has some decent dents that aren't very easy to fix aswell as the tail light screw holes are like broken off. I just wanted to get a comfirmation that the mounts for the bed to frame are in the same spot between the two years since there was a styling changein '91
