 Subject: Bumper cover for 2000 Dakota

My front bumper is starting to rust from stone chips and winter salt.
I've seen a Durango (dont know the year) with a plastic black bumper cover.
Does anyone know what year Durango bumper cover would fit a 2000 Dakota? And if it goes over the existing bumper? Are there other parts required?

97-00 Dakotas/Durangos have a split bumper which is metal on top, plastic on the bottom. 01-04 Dakotas & 01-03 Durangos have a metal subframe, with a 1-pc plastic bumper over the top.
There is also a variety of aftermarket bumper covers which can slip right over the top of your existing bumper, some of them even retain the OEM fog lights.
