 Subject: Piaa fog lamps

Got a silly question,,,can you hook up the Piaa fog lamps to the stock headlamp wires..? I put the Sniper kit on the front,,,and wanted to wire the new lamps with the old wire,,will the smaller 18 gauge wires handle the juice from the 12 gauge stock wires,,,also will these work with the high beam knockout on the stock foglamps..or should I do what Piaa recommends and do a complete seperate wire job..? I told ya it was a silly question,,thanx for any help or ideas...........
