 Subject: Leaky aftermarket headlight

Has any one bought the clear diamond headlights off Ebay and find anfter a few months start to have condinsation in them?
Question: How to get that condinsation OUT!!!
Would drilling a small hole in the back air it out and then re-seal it with silicone?
Any ideas

take it totally apart and re silicone it. More than likely it will work

Find the smallest bit you can and very carefully drill a hole in the underside of the housing. I had the same problem with my passenger side. Tried to silicon it and didn't work. Drilled the small hole in the front of the housing on the underside and have been condensation free for almost a year.

remove the headlight and get some vaseline, take the little gasket onthe headlight bulb and lightly coat it, make sure not to get any on the headlight bulb, and put it back and reinstall it, more often then not water gets in through that spot

I also did what 0 1R/T did. find the smallest bit possible.. drill in the bottom left or right of the headlight

As for taking them apart I don't think that would be easy as they are glued with somekinda plastic glue that is just as hard as the lenses.
