 Subject: Powdercoated Rims

What would you guys think of this. The 20 inch RT rims, powdercoated white on a black truck with clear lenses and white stickers. And don't say rice, I'm not going for rice, I'm going for the 2 contrasting colors of a black truck and white everything else. I'm not doing it anyway, I want chrome! But just thinking, I wonder what It would look like. And doesn anyone have powder coated rims on a dakota? And I know you're not suposed to start a sentence off with and.

that would make me want to vomit!! thats like people who have a red (or any other color) car and put on a unpainted body kit and think its cool. it looks unfinished.
i dont know how people can dump 20+ grand on a car or truck and go F it up.
this is all my opinion, and i know A LOT of people who share my opinion, but seriously if you want people to give you the thumbs up and have chicks "jock" DONT DO IT!

well i was not calling you a jock. i was just saying people will "jock" (drool over) the truck.
yes i hate rice burners. big body kits, big wings, and big 17's in the 1/4 ;) i do respect imports that do 13 sec or under in the 1/4 though (notice how they dont use wings?)

I would anodize a rim tho, if that's possible with those particular rims. Specially a nice good looking colour. -- my patriot/cobalt blue maybe...

White rims to me say only one thing; RICE!!!
It's gay, don't do it, it'll look terrible and all of us kota owners will laugh at you. Chrome dubs look great on a black truck, go with your original plan.

There was a red '72 Plymouth GTX in mopar muscle magazine back in september with white powder coated rims that looked pretty sweet.

Keep it clean! You gotta black truck, so go one of two routes:
(1) chrome rims
(2) black rims w/chrome lip
If your truck was white, and everything else on it was painted-to-match (handles, mirrors, wiper cowl, etc.) MAYBE white rims would be okay... but personally, I'd never ever consider white rims!
Just my 2 cents, though...
