Message: The hood is already "suicide", meaning that it opens at the front. I assume you mean to make it rear opening.
This is a fairly common mod for the street rod crwod. Seen lots of early pick ups with this mod, I think it looks good. Check with the street rod shops and catalogs for ready made kits.
