 Subject: street scene grille question

I was thinking about getting a Street Scene grille for my dakota, but yesterday I realized that the grille would cover the hood release latch. How do you solve this problem? Do you have to relocate the hood latch somehow? How hard is this to do, and where would you relocate it to? Thanks!!

When i got my whole front-end replaced with aftermarket stuff, including a street scene grille, my dealer made a pull down latch which you can access from under the grille assembly. I can email you a photo if you want, but i have an aftermarket hood so i don't know what you'd do with the stock pull switch.

The SS grill comes with a release relocating kit. Unless you are buying used, you are covered.

It puts a T-handle right in the lower middle of the grill. Easy to install, drill a hole in the existing release lever, run a cable, secure it to the support bar and you're off.

no need to relocate or replace any screw driver works great..............have a 99 RT use to have a SS grille and the screw driver worked great..........
