Tuff Tonno III but my 2000 Dakota came with a factory bed-liner. Well we I put on the Extang and it looks great. But when I’m driving on the expressway the front of the Extang looks like it has too much wind going through it. I think it’s because the factory bed-liner is tilting the frame for the Extang up and catching the wind.
What do you all think about it? Should I cut my bed-liner so the frame for the Extang is flush on the actual truck bed? Thanks in advance for the the advice

Good luck....I have heard that Extang owners have many problems. I would check with company before cutting my bedliner.

I've had mine since aug 1998. since installing it, i've never taken it off. rolled it up a lot, but never taken it off.
thought I don't have a bedliner, mine is clamped to the bed. Does your bedliner not have holes cut in it for this? or using tiedowns?

I've had my Extang since I bought my truck in Nov 01. Never had a problem installing it or using it since. I have the Rhino spray-in liner that goes under the rails. Going down the road there is a slight hump towards the front of the cover from air movement, but that's all.
Does yours really move around or is it a small hump like mine?

have had an extang for 4 years now and even at 100 plus never had a problem
