 Subject: Locking Tailgate

I've been searching for a lockable latch for the tailgate of my 2005 Dakota with no luck. I've been to the dealer and searched the web, but everything is for 2004 and earlier. Anyone have any suggestions?

Never seen one. Usually takes a year or two for the aftermarket to catch up to manufacturer changes for stuff like that.
Assuming you have some kind of top with a lock on it, you could use a simple gate latch on the inside to postitivly lock the gate.
