Subject: Whelen Edge 9000 Lightbar added! IP: Logged
Message: I had to share my excitment of adding an Edge 9000 Lightbar. 48" long, 8 Strobes, Left and Right Alley Lights, plus Take Downs.
I mounted it to the top of my Lund Racerback, and personally think it looks great up there!!!!!
Oh ya, there are some photos of my webpage, you will see the link.

Message: Looks great! I'll bet you put on a good show at night.
I'm not familiar with the Racerback, but I imagine installation was fairly easy (no more holes in the roof). Out of curiousity, where did you run the wiring into the cab?

Message: The Racerback has 4 holes to be drilled on the side of the cab, and one in the back under the rear window for a support. I already had a hole drilled in teh side for the power and ground of the 4 kc offroad lights I previoulsy had up there. The hole is hidden by the side of teh racerback.

The hole goes in behind the 2nd and 3rd screw hole front the bottom. (The screws are covered by the black end caps)
Once it goes in the cab, I ran it down the "B" Pillar to the floor and under theseat to the center console I have. Once the Lightbar was actually mounted, it was only 30 minutes before all the wiring was done and ready to go.
Oh, and the lights are so bright, even during the day I have to put on teh low power switch to even look at them. They will get someones attentions. Hehehe.
