Subject: glass chips IP: Logged
Message: I was driving home from work a couple of months ago and had a couple of rocks kicked up in front of me, and put two little pits in the windshield directly in my line of sight. They are not big at all, and are not spider webbed out. I'm not concerned about them ever getting worse, they are just annoying to look at when I have my ride all detailed out. Is there anything available to fill in pits or chips, like some sort of resin or filler that can be buffed? I've searched for something, but can't find a product that will do this. Any input will be appreciated.

thats because you are not looking hard enough.
there has been a product for this on the market for over 25 years Murray's discount autoparts used to carry it, and I saw it at autozone about 10 years back.
