Just curious if anyone has pics of an all white dak ...looking into replacing my already degrading black bumper w/ a white one. In theory i think having all white w/ a black grilleand dark tint would look slick, or am i wrong? Thanks!

I have a white 2000 regular cab Dakota Sport with a 3.9L V-6 and a 5-speed manual transmission. I thought the all-white look would be good too. So, eight months after I bought it, I took it to my uncle's body shop and we took off the door handles, bumpers, and grille and painted them all white. Also, we took off all the emblems. I guess I'm a bit biassed, but I think it really looks good for a Dakota. It really stands out from stock trucks.
In addition to the custom paint, I've also lowered the truck 2 inches and got the windows slightly tinted. Pictures of it would give you a good idea of exactly how this looks. It's all clean right now and I have a digital camera. I would be happy to send you some pictures if you could give me your email address. Just reply to this message and I'll check it tomorrow.

Here's some more pictures posted on this forum. This guy did his a little different than me. He left his door handles and grille factory black plastic. You can check these out to compare a slightly different approach.

Didn't get the pictures that you sent, so yah try it again when you get a chance. And thanks for the link to that other set of pics. Kinda crazy but 3 days after I started looking into replacing the bumper and all that, a 2005 civic decided to try and turn across me when I was roughly 30ft away @ 30mph. Needless to say his car would have been written off as totalled had it not been a 2005, and my truck is currently in the shop undergoing $4000 worth of repair. Too bad for him I guess, and I get my brand new all white front... I'd like to see your pics to see the door handle look tho =/
