What % tint are you guys running? I have an Extended cab with factory tint on the EXT and rear slider, but want to tint the doors. Just curious what percent are you guys using?

If you don't want tickets check your state laws for legal % and go with that. Cops in Michigan been cracking down a little on the tint.

I got hit hard when I had my Chevy S-10. I was living in Louisiana and got the windows tinted to there state laws but my truck was still registered and plated for Michigan. When I drove it to Michigan I was stopped 5 times in the state before reaching home. Tint laws suck. I am currently running 35% on my back window and factory tint on the back door windows of my Dakota. Nothing on the front.

Went 30% overtop of the factory on the Ext cab and rear slider and did 15% on the doors...She's nice and dark....fuc the law

i have 5% "limo tint" it rocks you can do whatever you want nobody can see in. just be sure if a cop pulls you over to roll the windows completely down to be safe. honestly a cop has never said anything to me about it and i have never been stopped?

I am going to take all of my windows to Tennessee legal limit. I don't need any more tickets. Is it possible to take my sunroof to completly black? Is it legal? I can't imagine that it wouldn't be.

jus got 20% all around, and over the tint already on the sides of the cab, very nice, idk what to do about inspection sticker tho, comming up in june

i have two dakotas and one has all the windows at 55% even the windshield. i like it but it is still a little light during the day. the other is 35% all the way around and 55% on the windshield. the best color is called "cool chrome" which matches the factory gun metal metallic tint on the sides. if you tint just the back and sides it makes tunnel vision and kinda doesnt match, but all the windows is look i like and i have never got pulled over- for that anyways. its the dark tint in the back that makes the 35% sides look darker and thats how people get the tickets.

I have 10% on my back and quarter on my 93 and 35 on the front windows.

i have 6% on the back window and 32% on the roll ups in ND, never been pulled over just for tint, but have been checked when pulled over for speeding....lol
