I was wondering if its possible to replace the lights behind the dashboard in order for them to match my deck. Can this be done and has anyone done it before, also what lights would I need and how much would they be. I have a 99 sport CC if that matters at all.
Is it possible to remove V6 emblem from the side of the truck, I took off the dakota sport stickers on the side with no problem but i thought i would ask if this is possible or just a waste of time. Thanks for any info.

In order to change the lights behind your dash, you must change the entire system as the lighting behind your dash is not made up of a few bulbs. Its actually a pretty complicated system to mess with. I wouldn't recommend it but I know that I have seen some pretty pricey kits on Ebay that claim to eliminate a little bit of the hassle. But you still have to rip your dash apart and replace an amount of wiring.

you can take off the v6 emblems but there is a little hole there where the emblems are mounted

From what I understood about the lights in the dash, the lights are just white, and the color comes from a cover thats in the dash. I could be wrong on this however, but I'm pretty sure that's the problem. I wanted to do the same thing, change my lights to all blue, but I believe there is green on the dash that gives 'em color.
