Subject: Interior paint IP: Logged
Message: I have a 93 dak and am getting tired of the dull grey that I have inside the truck. Today while pulling the headliner down to redo, I realized I had half my interior panels taken out anyway, so I was thinking of getting some cans of interior paint to do them up. The dakota is a bright red, like the old lil red express. I want to paint the inside black, then I realized the door panels are two parts. Its hard plastic with a softer feeling piece above the armrest. Would it look good to paint that red like the exterior? Kind of a little bit of a two-tone? I know it sounds a little radical but I think it might look good. I was also gonna spray my dashboard black, and then spray the black gauge bezel the same red as on the doorpanels. What do you guys think? Anyone try anything like this?

Message: That sounds like it'd actually look great. Beats the old boring color that everyone else has so I say go for it. I might even attempt something like that later on down the road .
