Message: Hey Jamie, if you want a slammed truck get a S-10, a slammed dakota is a discrace to dodge.
Mopar=more power, not gay lowered mexican truck.

Message: ^What was the point of that post, man? Are you racist against mexicans? Do you think every one should have the same taste in vehicles as you do?
My truck happens to be slammed on 20's and I'm not a mexican. Also, come correct....when you lower a truck it actually improves alot of the handling....you know...for that MOPAR ish you speak of.

Message: I dont know of many trucks that have "improved handling" after being lowered. Unless of course youre referring to the frame and everything else down there dragging over every bump in the road. Or maybe the constant bone-jarring bounce....or perhaps the f'd up front tires angled inwards cuz they dont really fit in the wheel wells.
I realize a correctly lowered truck would only exhibit a couple of these symptoms..but since 90% of lowered trucks are done half-a**ed this is the rap they get. If you cant do it correctly dont do it at all.

Message: Thats why you get it aligned afterwords....like you're supposed to. ;o)
The handling, as in turning, improved alot(atleast for me it did). Hugging curves in a truck = :oD
But, I will say this, you are right....the bouncing, scraping, and I'll also add in loss of turning does bite. But all of that is a small price to pay for the look.

Message: I doubt these people with these 24 inch rims have any power to their trucks. When you huge rims with 1 inch of rubber you cant get any traction on take off. Why dont you buy some 17" RT rims. they look great and still offer the traction needed. Plus they dont bend if you hit a big pothole
96 Dodge dakota 318= $3500$
26 inch rims= $5000
Do the math, why would you spend so much on huge rims unless you got an escalade or somethin

Message: Remember kids, there is a such thing as a rim being too large for a vehicle. Seriously...do you even realize how h0m0 a dakota would look on 24's?
22's are actually pushing it, but are still very very tolerable. Now, 24's....NO.
