Subject: Brake disc Covers? IP: Logged
Message: O.k. Maybe I am imaganing this, but I think I saw a magazine with some brake disc covers that keep brake dust from getting on your rims. Is this true?

Message: yeah, but they are actually somewhat more harmful than they say, as they not only prevent dust from getting out, but also prevent air flow, and that traps heat in the discs, causing premature wear... try going to a quality ceramic pad.. I have crossdrilled and slotted rotors, and EBC ceramic green stuff pads, no more dust. got the rotors from www.Irotors.com for around 160 for the pair... ebc pads are around 80. Great improvement to braking quality too.

Message: They are from Kleen Wheels. They work great and look great too. And they are actually louvered to keep your brakes cooler. Got them on my 03 Stampede. And they now come in several colors!
