Does anyone manufacture clear tails for the new Dakotas? I am purchasing a 2002 and think the look would suit an all Blak Dak. Thanks "Life is too short to drive a Dodge Ram."

Nobody manufactures truly clear lenses for any vehicles anymore - they're illegal now under DOT laws.
Euro-tails with fake 'chrome' or black 'carbon-fiber' appearance are available through a variety of websites or on e-bay. Some people like them, some don't (they're not as ricey as they look in pictures). Carbon fiber tails look sweet on a black truck in my opinion, and the chrome set looks good on my silver truck.
I also saw an alternate set of euro-type tails that were similar to the tail treatment on the new chevys (with the double bulbs instead of single) but they were more expensive.

Keep your stock tail lights. Clears are illegal and eventually fade. (The bulb and the plastic). Euro Clears are just ugly. Spend your money on a real modification.

Good points, but the fronts are only about $30 for the turn signal and parking light. So I figured the rears wouldn't be more than $50. If they were real expensive, I would for sure spend it on a performance mod. My current car only has rims in the way of styling mods and I wanted to do more exterior on a Dakota. It just looks cool to me, but if it fades a dull yellow or something, that would not be so sweet. Thanks.

Nice truck (and web site) SinCity R/T, even the wife approves :)
I'm looking to get a '02 QC in the same silver color, the clear lenses (front & back) look good on it for sure. Same with the grill inserts.
