Message: once a month i do a complete detail on my black paint on my 02 R/T. it consists of clay bar, 3 coats of mcguiers gold class, and 3 coats of mcguiers show wax. the shine is amazing, but after it gets dirty, when i hose it off to wash it again, theres so many swirl marks in the paint that i cant even tell that it has a clear coat. anyone else experience this?

Message: have you been doing that since it was new? You've probably rubbed the clear coat off by now.

Message: The best possible polish to use on a Black paint job after buffing is a product called liquid ebony. The key to this is after washing and buffing. You need to wash the truck again to remove residue of any compound and change buffing pads. Schlagle makes a good bonnet.
Good Luck. I think you will likw the results
