i've had alot of trouble getting my shift nob off of my stick any tricks to getting it off

use a flat head screw driver to dig out and pop off the plastic top with the "map" of the gears then unscrew the bolt under it make sure to hold the shifter itself and just unscrew the bolt not the pole
