Message: Well Earl, when I installed one on my 2001 Dakota I went out and found the smallest screws with the biggest heads I could find then carefully (very carefully) drilled tiny pilot holes within that 1/8" lip before screwing down the screening.

Message: man i know how you feel, i just ordered some universal chrome mesh off stylin concepts to go in my grill and sniper bumper cover and the guys at the shop said they didnt know how the hell to make it work, they said something about takin the bumper cover off and bending it around and riveting or something, i dunno but it seems like an awful lot of trouble just to get a grill in...if anybody comes up with a full proof plan, let me know, cause i dont know if i want to try to drill holes in something that damn thin...guess i could always use duct tape haha

Message: Talk to your body shop and get some adhesive. What we did was bent the cervinis screen kit that came with the bumper to wrap around the openings then loaded up the bent sides with the extra strength adhesive. No problems yet. It hardened up real fast and the screens are solid. There are no holes or anything that could eventually cause problems from drilling or riviting and since the screens are wrapped around the holes you cant see any adhesive its all behind the cover. Easy fix and no way to damage the cover.

Message: when I got my sniper cover i ordered the screen kit from cervinis as well. The new model has the screw holes in it already. The body shop told me to use windshield adhesive if you dont feel comfortable using screws. but if your careful and you have the right screw it will work.
