I see a few guys wanting to throw on some lamps from a Ram, and even a Caddy, why not some for the new Dodge Dakota? The Ram's are too big, and the Caddy's are not even Dodge and are ugly, heh'.

that would be sweet if the 05 tails fit the 97-04's with little or no modification. I want an upgrade for my tails, but i don't like euro, or altezza tails. They just don't suit the style i'm going for.
btw, what do the 05 badges look like, got any pics?

If you copy and paste the link above, it will take you to a pic of one of them.
They will have to be taken to a bodyshop and custom fitted to your dak as they are a different shape and size. I've seen Gen 3 Daks with 02+ Ram taillights on them, and those are huge, so these Dakota tails should be easier on the eyes and easier to do.
As for them hooking up, they can be spliced into your exsisting wiring to work, shouldn't be too hard. But I'm going to see if the existing wiring harness will fit into the new tails, they look the same, but I"ll give it a try.
Also the price has dropped to $100 shipped in the 48 states, and $40 shipped for the V8 badge.

The new tailight has more defined edges to it. Ours are more rounded at the slope down near the qtr panel. I'd imagine that they mounting holes are different and that they will not be easy to switch.

if u look in the sept 04 mini truckin the blue dak with bags has the wfullsize ram tailights in it so that is by no means the first in the world to do it.
