There are small square holes in the bottom of the valance that I guess are used for Tow Hooks. I don't have them so all I have is gaps. I once thought some small square fog lamps would fit nicely in there. I also thought of hooking up some hose to both of them and feeding them into the airbox as sort of a true cold air intake. I painted my valance to match my truck, I have the grey SLT valance with chrome bumper. Theres not much you can do with it unless your thinking about something involving bondo. If you come up with anything please share it.

depends on what your going for. if you were going for a race type look you could easily put some type of chin splitter for the ait on there.

I had some wake board skegs lying around I was thinking of putting on the sides of the bumper to add adownforce. however I can't find them after I moved so that appears to be a no go.

the rite design of skeg could look good.

You could get ahold of some blocks of foam,I think there are sheets of foam about 4 inches thick,3 feet wide and long enought to fit the width of the dakota, used for construction like insulation or sound barrier, somewhere along those lines. glue several sheets together and carve it to the shape and style of what you want for the valence. then lay several layers of fiberglass and resin over it. then scrape out the foam. It should work fairly well, havn't got to that yet, but hopefully soon. Just make sure if you try that, keep in mind the thickness of the fiberglass when you form the foam. remember to make mounts also.

yes that is a great idea, except when i tried it with my grill the resin in the fibreglass eats it away so the whole thing fell apart.be careful if your gonna do it.i was thinking of trying to shape it with mesh wire then lay fiberglass on top.
