Subject: Painting Street Scene Grills IP: Logged
Message: I have the Street Scene grills for my 2000 Dodge Dakota CC. They are the polished aluminum and I was thinking about painting them. Does anyone know of a good paint to use or if i need to prime or sand the grills? I have never done anything like this before so I also dont know what kind of paint would work, spray paint? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrew

Message: I would just powder coat them. Very cheap to have done and will be more durable and reliable than painting them.

Message: I assume that I can get it powdercoated in any color. My truck is blue and I think the grills would look hot if they were white.
