 Subject: Quad Cab door handles

I have an 03 QC with power locks and keyless entry. I was wondering if the opening in the exterior of the door is the same for the handles in the front and rear doors. What I am asking is will rear handles fit into the front door (mechanically and physically) so I can get rid of the lock cylinder and linkage (anti theft). $45 a piece from dodge. I think it the black handles look good on the truck (graphite paint). Any help appreciated.
