ok well ive been searching for 20's for months. i ask and ask and i keep getting different answers about offset and backspacing. can i get some specific wheels with the correct specs to tuck into my fenderwell. i am lowered, but plans to lower more once i get some wheels. thanks guy for all the great help throughout the forum.

if you are already lowered having 20's will probably give you hell if you want to drop more. What dakota do you have? I'll tell you this I have 20's on a 01 QC dakota and it has been giving my front end hell.(Additional Money to beef up supension...Just about everything) I have the 20" Ferritti's Tuscannys. Nice rims but the price of replacing suspension. Try 18's wish I would have went with that instead.

Unfortunately there is no magic universal figure when it comes to backspacing - many rims have their hubs in different locations - some are all the way at the outside edge of the wheel, some others are mounted deeper within the wheel so their offsets would be completely different.
