Subject: wheel help. . come on guys IP: Logged
Message: ok well ive been searching for 20's for months. i ask and ask and i keep getting different answers about offset and backspacing. can i get some specific wheels with the correct specs to tuck into my fenderwell. i am lowered, but plans to lower more once i get some wheels. thanks guy for all the great help throughout the forum.

Message: if you are already lowered having 20's will probably give you hell if you want to drop more. What dakota do you have? I'll tell you this I have 20's on a 01 QC dakota and it has been giving my front end hell.(Additional Money to beef up supension...Just about everything) I have the 20" Ferritti's Tuscannys. Nice rims but the price of replacing suspension. Try 18's wish I would have went with that instead.

Message: Unfortunately there is no magic universal figure when it comes to backspacing - many rims have their hubs in different locations - some are all the way at the outside edge of the wheel, some others are mounted deeper within the wheel so their offsets would be completely different.
