I'm really interested in getting the 3 piece bug deflector my dealer has in stock and is willing to sell it to me for $75 but want any opinions on it if ya got any....Will it reduce/add to wind noise at 50-75mph or will it be fine, etc....I always like adding a deflector to my trucks and this one (2004 Quad Cab 4.7) is one I honestly plan on keeping so just would like opinions..Thanx a million, Marty

Well now that they told me it had to be drilled I decided "no way" BUT have been looking at Autoventshades and am thinking about the 45751 front mount and 25923 behind the grill mount...Soinds like behind is more secure but that front mount would let chrome show better...I like the looks w/o it but don't like the little chips rocks and stuff are already making...Any more info/opinions is welcomed...Thanx, Marty

I have a Lund 3 piece on my 2001. It mounts behind the grill, and install was pretty easy. I used to have a '95 Ram, and I didn't install one at all. The hood and both fenders had a multitude of small dents and scratches from FOD. So when I bought this truck 2.5 years ago (new) I installed the deflector right away. So far, 55,000 miles and no FOD damage.
