Message: My stock hood is gone, and my fenders need to be straightned. My question is it possible/pratical to paint the hood my self. I'm going to order a stock one from a guy on ebay. It's black, my truck is silver. I've painted my plastic bumpers, mirrors, door handles, and some interior peices using the duplicolor stuff from the local auto shop. They have held up fine and look great. Can I do the same thing with the metal hood and fenders?
