 Subject: power wagon driveline in dakota

i have a 87 4x4 v6 short bed and i want to put a 318 with the np435 4 speed in the truck the power wagon is a parts truck and i also want to put the fullsize axles under the truck aslo. what does anyone think? thanks

sounds like a plan.
1. straight axle and leafs up front.
2. new motor / tranny mounts.
there were a few posts i saw on this somewhere on here, about the straight axle with a V8 in a gen I.
