 Subject: purple dome/reading/map lights?

Anyone have any ideas on where to get purple lights for the interior of my '01 QC?

I had a friend put a plastic colored filter directly in the lense of his f150. Worked great. He basically had a piece of 8.5 x 11 plastic colored sheet of plastic. Cut it to match the shape and that's it. The only down side is what ever color you choose you will not see!(maps,books,etc.) He had red and in an atlas all the road names in red type "disappeared" from the light. Hope this helps.
