 Subject: remove badges for fender flares?

just a quick question, do you have to remove the v6 magnum badging when putting on the factory type fender flares? I've seen some daks with no badging up on the quarter panels by the headlights that have flares and then i've seen others that still have them on. It seems like the daks that have no badges on them are the slt packages. I have a 98 sport and would like to put flares on but am wondering about the clearance and if it will be a problem.

I put factory flares on my 98 Sport and the V6 badges did not get in the way, left them right on. If you choose a larger type flare other than what Dodge used then there might be a spacing issue.

the ones you are seeing with no badges are 2001 and up. the flares go on fine without disturbing the badges.
