Message: I have a 2001 Quad cab dakota. It has the crome bumper with the gray plastic like thing below it. I got some fog lights for those two holes on the bumper. But the instructions tell me to take a working knife to cut the plastic holes out. I am kinda scare about cutting the holes because It will be permanent if i mess up. What is the best way to cut the holes? Will this cut show up when I put in the fog lights.

Message: I did this a couple of months ago. I invested $20 in a 4" hole cutter and it looked great. You are right in that if you screw up it is bad news. I would be glad to share the cutter if you are close!
