The other day I was walking out to my truck and someone stole my tailgate! I was wondering if anyone had any advice or knows somewhere/one that has one for sale. I would like to get it the same color as the truck so I don't have to paint it (Patroit Blue). Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the link Daffy I will look into that. Seriously though my tailgate...that's all they took! Oh well what can you do? At least they did it clean.

My pops got a t/gate handle lock on his...first thing he did after he bought it...and mine...well...cant open it from the outside..

There's a device called the Gatekeeper which locks the tailgate in place so people can't just pull it off and walk away. It's made by Redline products, the same company who makes the Jimmi Jammer door lock plates, it doesn't interfere with your normal tailgate use either.

I have one on my truck and it looks like it will work great if someone tries to run off with my tailgate. I'll be posting a "how to" on my site in the near future.

this is actually kind of common, I know my cousin lives in orlando and it was serious enough to warrant news time.
Its just something easy to steal and put on a website or trade in at a junk yard. not agreeing but that is what the world is coming to.
