i've done it!
its not to hard you just got to take some time and it will come out nice. i don't have any pics though.
but i have 4-5 of the bigger dash peices, all the vents, the 2 plastic door pillers, and the plastic back rest(ext. cab). i painted most of it the emreld green to match may trucks exterior and then i painted the vents and the ash tray yellow. i've got alot of compliments so far.
i also reapolsterd the back seats(ext. cab) in a green vynle, and the back lowere back rest in yellow felt. and the cloth pecies on the door panel have yellow felt over them too.
i'll try to post some pics if some one tells me how.

I am in the process of doing up my 89 se long bed

My buddies and i own a shop called Prospeed customs and classics

WE add a sheet metal center consol that goes from under the ash tray flush up to the back window staying low and then rising quick it has 2 ten inche subs by the back windon on a 75* angle and then an inline hurst floor shifter and then under the ash tray a roll up TV screen
(i dont have the TV in yet) WE also recovered the a set of bucket seats in Black vynl and Put on custom curled door panels

We also painted the dash

Plans for interior also include custom CNC pedals and Steering wheel out of aluminum polished of course

I have pics somewhere if you want to see them email me

I recently got my 99 dakota sport and it didn't come with a bedliner. I was lookin into Rhino lining but wasn't sure if just a drop in liner would do. any comments feel free to give me the pros and cons of both. thanks

Hey jeff..fortunatly my truck came with the rhino liner already...kinda all depends on what your usin the truck for...if your gonna be haulin stuff around that will slide around on a plastic bed liner...you might want the spray-on...also i heard spray is better because moisture and dirt trapped under a bedliner will provoke rotting..
just my .02

Definitely go with the spray in. The drop ins work but the spray ins are much better.
-They don't slide
-Grip better
-Look better
-You can have it sprayed as high on the rail as you want
-You can work with the guy spraying and have him spray over a design that would show the raised image. Something like some skull snd crossbones or whatever. Plus it will still work just like your regular bed. I have had both and perfer the sprayin.
